Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of driving, including refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, commercial vehicles, and heavy equipment operation.
Duties:
- Safely operate different types of vehicles such as refrigerated trailers, delivery trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and roll-off trucks.
- Transport goods and materials over short or long distances while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment like forklifts.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries.
Skills:
- Experience in commercial driving and handling various types of freight.
- Proficiency in loading and unloading procedures.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers and their specific requirements.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols while operating vehicles.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work independently when needed.
